Located west of Steamboat Springs in the Little Snake River Valley, Focus ranch continues to offer guests the working ranch experiences dude ranches did in the past. Guests can participate as much as they would like, in the daily operation of the ranch. The horseback riding is one of the most attractive and popular features, as guests are allowed to ride a horse cross country rather than head to tail. This is a family ranch and kids find pleasure in the barn animals and helping with the chores of feeding the baby lambs, the pigs and bringing in the milk cow and calf. The scenery is exquisite as the ranch borders Medicine Bow National Forest and is surrounded by mountains with the Little Snake River running through the ranch property for 2 miles. Fly fishing is excellent most of the season and back country fishing is available for the physically fit. Most of our business is from repeat guests as they find Focus Ranch a hidden treasure!
