Come to a Montana Dude Ranch and LIVE YOUR DREAMS!! Have you always wanted to horseback ride in country that combines the best of mountains, valleys and open spaces? Ever imagined the freedom and exhilaration of a running horse beneath you? See the 200 mile views? Do you want to chase cows and see what the cowboy life is all about? Challenge your horsemanship with cattle work? Experienced riders love the miles we ride and the quality of the horses. We use Parelli Natural Horsemanship and share our knowledge and experience with all guests who are interested in learning about it.
Have you always wished you could learn to ride? You had had this dream a long time - follow it through!! You can do it and it is probably easier than you think. We will teach you how to be comfortable around your horse on the ground with simple games and then how to use these games when you are riding. You will understand how horses think and why they behave certain ways. Develop comfort and confidence. You will experience how communication is the sharing of ideas between yourself and your four-legged partner. Most people grow to love the feel of the horse, slow and fast. You can learn as much in a week as in almost a year of weekly lessons.

Accomodations:
We have a total of eight rooms in two separate buildings. The guest rooms were built new in 2000. The spacious rooms, 18 X 24, include beds, private facilities, cast iron stove, and an easy chair. The beds in the rooms vary with either a king size bed, queen size beds or twin beds. The rooms open to a covered porch where you may relax and enjoy the view.
Dining:
Our meals are prepared in the Montana Ranch tradition and feature beef, pork, and chicken served in various ways with healthy vegetables and fresh home cooked breads and pies. We serve meals family style. The family eats all the meals with you at large tables. Cookies and fruit are always available. We are relaxed and the kitchen is open to come in and make a cup of tea and visit. Meat-free meals are available for the vegetarian, and after-hours meals can be arranged for the sportsman who stays out late. Special needs can be accommodated with advance notice. Bag lunches are provided to be enjoyed on the trail or road.
