FULL DESCRIPTION OF LISTING
Located 60 miles from the nearest small town, Wapiti Meadow is nestled between towering, timbered ridges of the Rocky Salmon River Mountain Range, located between the South Fork and the Middle Fork of the legendary Salmon River. Catering to just a few (12) guests, the ranch offers unlimited mountain trail riding to scenic, untrammeled high mountain lakes and vistas overlooking the largest Wilderness area in the Lower 48 States, the River of No Return Wilderness. The ranch individualizes each guest's ride to suit his or her skill and endurance level. We have a new, unique trail for every day of your stay, and you can dictate the duration and type of ride you wish to enjoy each day. Wapiti Meadow is also an Orvis Endorsed Lodge, offering some of the best, most extensive and varied trout fly fishing in the Inland Northwest, fishing the South and Middle Forks of the Salmon River and numerous tributaries and high alpine lakes. The remote location of the ranch offers guests solitude, unparalleled scenic beauty, and excellent sport. The excellent kitchen assures 'hearty gourmet' dining and the private cabins offer luxury backcountry accommodations. The friendliness of the owners and staff assure warm fellowship.
