Our Guest Ranch is spacious, complete with a two story fireplace, sun room, large central dining room, sweeping outdoor deck facing the rugged Coast Mountains, and queen beds with feather duvets. The atmosphere is similar to that of a large family home. The 8 guest bedrooms have a varied combination of sleeping arrangements (such as queen, twin, single, and queen with bunk), along with 4 shared bathrooms. Our log chalets are self-contained with greater privacy, ranging in size from the 1 bedroom Honeymoon Cabin to the 3 bedroom Family Reunion.
Our Alpine Camps vary between fully equipped permanent base camps and seasonal camps. The permanent camps include different combinations of log cabins and/or tent cabins for eating and sleeping. Tent cabins consist of 10 x 12 "walk about" structures with raised floors. Some of the permanent camps are more developed, with gravity-fed showers, solar lighting and heaters in the tent cabins.
Our guests always have a hearty appetite after a day of hiking, horseback riding, and other active experiences. We fuel the fun with hearty, western fare that includes a lot of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. All of the meals at our wilderness guest ranch and in our alpine camps are served family-style. This gives our guests and staff members the opportunity to contribute their experiences and learn from one another.
Target practice, bareback lessons, fishing, gold panning, fly-fishing lessons, horse logging demonstrations, and grizzly bear viewing are only some of the exciting western activity options that our guests get to participate in.
