The ranch begins in an ancient juniper forest with incredible 360-degree views of mountains surrounding the valley. Wind Walker consists of over 900,000 acres of deeded, leased, and forest service land. You can experience the many faucets of nature as they change from 6,000 to 12,000-foot elevation levels. Located just outside the historic town of Spring City, the ranch is situated about half way to most of the national parks of Utah, including Grand Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, and Grand Staircase National Park - all of for your riding, photography, and sightseeing pleasures. The number one activity on the ranch is the horseback riding. Wind Walker takes great pride in their horse program and has gone to great lengths to select their horses. They have been hand chosen from the same horses used to make movies filmed in Utah. They are the best. Who knows? You may be riding the same horse Clint Eastwood rode. These horses are well trained, gentle, and trail wise. Wind Walker is graced with several different riding terrains nearby for all horseback riding skill levels. Novice rider? Wind Walker’s wranglers will teach you the ins and outs of horseback riding. Don't want to ride? Wind Walker also has guided hiking to ancient landmarks, blue ribbon water for fishing, bird watching, world-class cross country skiing, unique heritage shopping, native wine tasting, wildlife viewing and more. Unwind with morning meditation, yoga, tai chi, Native American sweat lodge, massage, facial, or a scenic walk to the ranch’s original homesteader’s cabin.
