This beautiful guest Ranch is located in a remote area surrounded by Ashley National Forest and Ute Indian Reservation. The dude ranch holds a "Special Use Permit" issued by Ashley National Forest. Some of the many activities provided at the ranch include: excellent fishing, spectacular bird watching, extensive hiking trails, Alpine mountain scenery and nearby access to mountain biking, golfing, river rafting, boating, Dinosaurland Quarry, and Fremont Indian rock art.
The nearby towns of Vernal and Roosevelt, Utah provide local points of interest as well as friendly, small-town atmospheres. The elevation at the ranch is 7,200 feet above sea level and is located 150 miles from Salt Lake City and 300 miles from Denver. For our guests staying at the dude ranch we offer our two Luxury log cabins. They are decorated in "Cowboy Style" furnishings. Chepeta Cabin sleeps four people and The Bunkhouse sleeps six. They each have a full bath, living room and fully equipped kitchens. Continental breakfasts are provided when requested in advance. Treat yourself to the best nature has to offer and the comfortable retreat of a cozy cabin.

The Bunkhouse is appropriately named because it is the second story of a log horse barn. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has two twin beds. It has a large full bath with shower. The large living room has a TV/VCR, custom-made cowboy furniture and western art. The fully equipped kitchen has all the modern conveniences, including a dishwasher and laundry. The dining area looks out over the mountains and the horse pastures. It also allows a view of the play between the horses-a great study in herd behavior! An outdoor grill/picnic area is close by. The Bunkhouse can sleep up to six people. This is a non-smoking facilityChepeta Cabin is a log cabin, decorated with custom-made cowboy furniture and western art. It has a downstairs bedroom with a queen-size hand made log bed. The upstairs sleeping loft has two twin beds. The kitchen is well equipped to make your meal preparation convenient. There is a charcoal grill if you want to cook outside. There is a full bath with a shower/tub combination. The cozy sitting room has a gas fireplace and is a great place to relax and read. Dine on your front porch while you enjoy the view of the mountains, and watch the horses grazing in the pasture. Chepeta Cabin can sleep up to four people

There is a wide variety of thing to see and explore in the area. We are in a remote area, surrounded by National Forest so there are many places to hike, fish, and bicycle. River rafting is quite popular on the Green And Yampa Rivers. We can help you choose a River Company if you would like to try a float trip. Vernal is famous for the Dinosaur National Monument and Quarry, just east of town. Self-guided tours of Indian Petroglyphs are also near by.
