South Fork Mountain Lodge & Outfitters, located just 16 miles west of Buffalo, Wyoming, has everything you need for an exciting Wyoming mountain vacation, Wyoming fishing trip, hunting trip, or other outdoor experience, all in view of the beautiful Bighorn Mountains of North Central Wyoming. Situated in the Bighorn National Forest, South Fork Mountain Lodge provides visitors with access to more than a million acres of public lands, including the Cloud Peak Wilderness Area.
Nestled along the South Fork of Clear Creek at an elevation of 7,700 feet, visitors can experience a variety of alpine environments to explore and to suit almost any taste! Mountain trail hiking around South Fork is some of the most spectacular you'll ever experience. Lakes, streams, forest, beautiful mountain peaks, scenery, and abundant wildlife all provide an incredible playground for the outdoor enthusiast. Colorful wildflowers cover the mountain parks in the spring and early summer and photographic opportunities are endless.

Our Lodge and cabins are authentic log buildings with some dating back to the early 1900's. Our log structures reflect various unique architectural styles found throughout this century.
Antelope:Newly modern cabin, queen bed, set of bunk beds, bathroom/shower, sleeps 4. Very nice!
Coyote:Rustic cabin with 2 double beds, deck overlooking the stream, uses central bath house, sleeps 4.
Bear:Rustic cabin with 2 double beds, deck overlooking the stream, uses central bath house, sleeps 4.
Trout:Rustic cabin with 2 double beds, deck overlooking the stream, uses central bath house, sleeps 4.
Wolf:Rustic cabin with 2 double beds, deck overlooking the stream, uses central bath house, sleeps 4.
Deer:Large rustic 3-room cabin. Sleeps 5, double bed in one room, set of bunks with single and double bed in the other, on stream, uses central bath house.
Buffalo:Large rustic cabin, uses central bath house. 2 bedrooms with double bed in each room, on stream, sleeps 4.
Mountain Lion:Rustic cabin, sleeps 4, uses central bath house, has a loft, overlooks stream
Moose:Large modern cabin, sleeps 6, 3 double beds, full bath/shower, refrigerator, microwave. Very nice!
Bobcat:Small cabin, 1 double bed, sleeps 2, half bath, (sink/stool only).
Elk:Modern cabin, 2 double beds, sleeps 4, full bath/shower, near lodge.
Wrangler:Large modern cabin, sleeps 8, full bath/shower, 2 doubles, 2 singles, 1 queen bed, TV, refrigerator. Very nice!
Dining:
South Fork Mountain Lodge offers full menu service, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days per week. Enjoy fine dining by a crackling fireplace in our cozy dining room. Our menu features such entrees as steaks and seafood, and we also have a children's menu.
Added attractions include a private barbecue and picnic area, just the spot for a family gathering or summer social. We can also provide catering service at the picnic area so you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere while we provide your meal.
Entertainment:
The Lodge has a full bar and lounge area filled with puzzles, games and a piano for those who like to play. A large porch on the front of the Lodge provides a perfect spot for lounging or for simply sitting back and inhaling the cool, clean mountain air.
