Hike through the hills and observe the abundant wildlife, birds native grass and wild flowers. Stroll along one of our springs, creeks or ponds. Fish for trout. Picnic on top of a high ridge and look out over magnificent hills, prairies and the Rocky Mountains where you can see for miles.
In the spring, experience new life on the ranch. If you're lucky, you could watch a new calf being born. It's still exciting - even to us after many years as ranchers. In the horse herd, you might see a new foal. There may be baby kittens... or other kitties a bit older so you can cuddle them! Cross country skiing or tobagganning are winter options.
At the end of the day, join us at a campfire/fireplace on scheduled evenings and sing-a-long with our own singing cowboy. Or you may wish to enjoy the privacy of your own quiet little house and cozy up with a good book in front of your wood-burning fireplace.
Circle 6 Ranch Getaway is the ideal place for scrapbookers, ladies' weekends, couples or families. Musicians, artists or writers might find the solitude and spectacular foothills ranch country appealling. Small family reunions welcome as well. The Coop:a guest getaway complete with custom country-themed living area, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. If you like chickens, apples and daisies, this is your house! Just up the hill from the main ranchhouse, The Coop provides a self-contained relaxing home-away-from-home for guests wanting a rustic ranching experience! Complete with its own wood-burning stove, The Coop has a queen-sized bed, two singles and a hide-a-bed and will sleep up to 6 people.
The Silverspring House: named for a crystal clear spring that bubbles up nearby, still enjoys its own ranchyard quite remote from the main SN Ranch holdings. Guests may chose to take advantage of the horse shelter and corrals that comprise part of the yard. If guests wish to experience total privacy from any sign of "neighbouring" civilization, a stay in The Silver Spring House is recommended... for the serenity, beauty and privacy that this accommodation venue provides. The Silver Spring House has one queen sized bed, one double, one bedroom with a single bed and another bedroom with two singles. There is also a hide-a-bed in the living room; the Silver Spring House sleeps up to 9 people. To cater to those folks who are seeking the ranch lifestyle, the Silver Spring House features a cowboy experience complete with traditional ranch table, wagon-wheel furniture, cowboy gear and artifacts.
Camping is also available.
