Black Creek Ranch is a family owned and operated ranch located an easy 90 min. drive east of Williams Lake in Cariboo Country, British Columbia. Williams Lake is a 6.5 hour drive north of Vancouver, BC, and is roughly 2 hours off the Trans Canada Highway.
BC's Cariboo Country offers unlimited outdoor activities and wilderness adventures. In the summer you'll enjoy kayaking or canoeing on the Horsefly River or one of the many nearby lakes. Or, try fly fishing the world famous Horsefly River! The Horsefly offers some of the finest river fly fishing anywhere. The Horsefly River supports a large population of trophy-sized native Rainbow Trout that have made it a legendary fly fishing destination.
The Cariboo wilderness is rich in hiking trails, from easy walks to wilderness backwoods hiking treks. The region is also a popular destination for mountain biking. Old logging roads and a variety of scenic trails make for excellent mountain biking adventures.
The Cariboo is a land alive with history.The Cariboo Gold Rush of the 1800's began on the Horsefly River. And, the lure of the Gold Rush still beckons today. Try your hand at gold panning on the rich gold creeks and rivers nearby.
And when autumn ends and winter begins there's still lots to do at Black Creek Ranch.
