Hiking and horseback riding allow the freedom of exploring as much as you want. Explore miles of spectacular scenery, lakes, rivers, streams, valleys, and hills. Trails abound to suit all levels of riding skills from beginners to advanced. You will see a marvelous abundance of meadow flowers and wildlife such as mule deer, moose , black bear, loons, eagles, ospreys, and beavers. In the fall, the colors are spectacular along these wilderness trails. Canoeing, swimming, motorboating, sailing and fly-fishing await you at Vedan Lake. Early morning, while fishing for trophy size rainbow trout and dolly varden, listen to the flapping and wild cry of loons meeting the day on the calm lake.
