FULL DESCRIPTION OF LISTING
Owned by the same family for five generations, today it offers guests the opportunity to experience traditional ranch life and other outdoor activities with the comfort of upscale western accommodations. Our unique combination of accommodations at the base of the Bighorn Mountains, along with our remote mountain facilities, provide an ideal setting for great vacations. The ability to combine a learning experience with a broad variety of recreational activities ensures a great personal vacation adventure.
Ranch cowboys and guests are guaranteed plenty of time on horseback as they move over 1,000 head of cattle across the ranch's quarter of a million acres of range.
Guests of The Hideout with an interest in paleontology, archeology or geology have the unique opportunity to participate in a walking, guided tour of the nearby Red Gulch Dinosaur Track site with a local expert. During the summer months, it is not unusual to meet with international scientists exploring and working on the many geological sites for which Wyoming is world renowned.
Wonderful food, fine horses, great adventures, and genuine western hospitality all await you at The Hideout.
