A working ranch vacation located along the Oldman River in Southern Alberta's cowboy country, Bent Creek Western Vacations offers activities for the whole family. Let the cowboy spirit emerge when you saddle-up to check or move cattle; experience a river crossing; ride old cattle trails where deer and coyotes abound. Find evidence that this valley was once inhabited by Blackfoot Indians. You might try fly-fishing right out our "back door" in the mountain-fed river. Look forward to delicious, home-cooked meals served in our dining room or outdoors on our spacious veranda. Cattle Handling/Ranch Roping and Ranch Horse clinics are scheduled throughout the summer. Guests might consider combining one of these 3-day clinics with an extended stay at Bent Creek - a chance to put new skills into practice doing real ranch work!
