Lost Trail Ranch is a year 'round Guest Ranch, with four main comfortable, fully-furnished cabins available for Guests to come and enjoy the serenity of these unspoiled mountains. Peace and beauty abound on this Ranch, where Guests feel the crisp mountain air, and soak in the incredible vistas in all directions. Deer, moose, elk and coyote are seen regularly right here at the Ranch. At Lost Trail Ranch, our relaxed atmosphere provides the perfect back drop for a family vacation or a romantic weekend get-a-way.
From right here on the Ranch, we offer horseback riding services; day rides along the creeks, woods and meadows; drop camps and pack trips into the surrounding wilderness areas. Here at Lost Trail Ranch, we offer fabulous fishing for our Guests, with over a quarter mile of exclusive frontage along the pristine Rio Grande headwaters, as well as access to the many surrounding remote high-country creeks and lakes. The Guest Ranch at Lost Trail Ranch offers the unique opportunity for our Guests to enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountains and the river in their own private cabin. Each cabin offers a special "home away from home" in the mountains for the families and friends that join us here at Lost Trail Ranch. Each cabin provides our Guests with a private, comfortable and serene environment, with incredible views of our unspoiled mountains. Most of our cabins have furnished kitchen and full modern bath facilities, with gas appliances and solar powered electric lights. A wood stove in each cabin provides heat. Pillows and pillow cases are provided. Guests bring their own linens, blankets or sleeping bags, and towels.

Meals - don't forget that at this elevation, you'll probably need to eat, drink and sleep a little bit more than you do back home. It’s almost 10,000 feet here - high and dry! But then again, everyone tends to bring enough to feed all the ranch hands! Please remember to bring along all the fixings for your meals and snacks while you’re at Lost Trail, because the nearest grocery store is an hour away (in good driving conditions) – and once you’re here, you probably won’t want to leave!
