Fazenda Laranjal is a authentic 900 acre working ranch and farm owned and managed by an English speaking American/Brazilian family. While our principal occupations are coffee, hay and fish farming as well as Brahman cattle, sheep and goat ranching, we are privileged to be located in a very beautiful natural setting on the banks of the unpolluted Paranapanema River where you may fish, swim, or kayak. We have miles of hiking trails in natural forests and two waterfalls. We offer our guests a week of comfortable living in a safe, relaxing and spacious setting with a wide range of activities to choose from, such as horseback riding on our beautiful and well behaved Lusitano and Mangalarga horses, swimming, fishing, kayaking, biking, and hiking. We offer private farmstays and accept very few guests at a time in our home. We treat each guest as family and provide an experience of the charm of rural Brazil.

You will be accommodated in our home at the main house, a large and comfortable house built in the early 1940s with bricks and roof tiles handmade here with local clay.
Dining:
We offer home prepared traditional Brazilian country meals and barbecues. You will enjoy tropical fruits and homemade breads and cakes.
Entertainment:
Horseback riding is a favorite pastime. We have lovely trails throughout the farm for riding or nature walks. Water sports, kayaking, swimming and fishing are available as well. Spend evenings watching the stars or listening to Brazilian music.
