Flathead Lake Lodge is located directly on the shores of Flathead Lake, the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi. The backdrop of the Lodge is the magestic Rocky Mountains. Here you can enjoy a variety of activities ranging from horseback riding, team penning and a family rodeo to water skiing, sailing and canoeing. Fishing is also very popular in the area with the huge mackinaw in the lake and the rainbow and cutthroat trout. Whitewater rafting, kayaking and hiking are also popular activities. There are four tennis courts at the lodge, with a weekly tournament for players of all levels and ages. Golf is also nearby at Eagle Bend, one of the top rated public courses in Montana. Even with all the activities available at Flathead Lake Lodge, the horseback riding remains the most popular. Riders of all ages and ability fill the mornings and evenings with dreams of John Wayne and Annie Oakley. There is truly something for everyone at Flathead Lake Lodge.
Accomodations:
One, two, and three bedroom cabins are available, along with rooms in the lodges. Cabins sleep from two to seven people. Lodge rooms accomodate two to four.
Dining:
Food is served family style, with plenty to eat for everyone. There are two serving times for each meal to accomodate the activities planned for the day. Meal times are 8am, 12pm, and 6pm for children, 8:30am, 12:30pm, and 6:30pm for adults.
Entertainment:
Each night of the week there is a special event scheduled for the entertainment and participation of the guests. Activities include: a beach fire and sing-a-long, team roping demonstration, a cookout in the mountains, barn dance, and team penning.
