The main building is furnished in a Transition - mix of Colorado Countrystyle and modern East Coast - Loft - Lifestyle with great attention and care to every single guest and family. The Colorado Rocky Mountains with the peaks of the San Juans are always in sight. Cedar-, pine and aspentree forrests abound and elk, deer and sometimes moose roam the endless open land: magnificent nature at it´s best! All this is offered by the DOUBLE G RANCH between Montrose and Ridgway in the heart of Western Colorado. We also offer vacation with your own horse - a dream for horse and rider - You will experience wonderful tours like riding through free-range-cattle pasture where you perfectly can galopp with your horse. After a 2 hr ride your hosts welcome you with a delightful picknick. Other rides will lead you into nature parks nearby where you can see plenty of wild animals such as deer, elk and many more. Depending on the ability of your horse we can vary the length of our tours. By the way: your horses won´t need shoes on all trails. We can accomodate up to 10 guest horses.
