Klondike Ranch

More than a Wyoming dude ranch, we invite you to join us in the activities of our historical, working cattle ranch. You’ll get to enjoy riding, working cattle and camping out under brilliant Wyoming skies, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and taking in the vast beauty of the Bighorn Mountains.

If you like trail riding, you’ll love riding for a purpose. At Klondike, 90% of our spring, summer and fall work is spent horseback and working cattle every day. We also offer amazing Historical Tours, top-notch Fishing & experiences like you’ve never imagined. Yep, every day is a new adventure.

While you help us get our job done, you also get to experience beautiful Wyoming scenery with the amenities of a guest ranch, without riding in single-file lines. Every time there is a job to do, you will be our “right-hand man”, helping gather and trail cattle.

Some Activities Include:

- Herding Cattle
- Ranch Work
- Overnight Camp Out
- Fishing & Hiking
- Photography
- Historical Tours
- Rodeos
- And So Much More...

In our family since the 1920s, our ranch has a lot of history and is centrally located giving us the ability to visit many historical sites and museums. We offer an amazing historical tour including a famous battle site of the Johnson County Cattle wars, the Jim Gatchell museum in Buffalo, Ft. Phil Kearny, the famous Don King museum and Kendrick Mansion in Sheridan, and more.

The ranch is about 25 minutes from Buffalo. In town there is a large free swimming pool, an excellent golf course, weekly rodeos, and one of the most interesting historic museums in the country.
Children's Programs:
Because of our style of riding, we are unable to accommodate younger children. We spend a lot of the time riding in the mountains with the cattle and have found that it is too demanding for the younger kids. We recommend children be at least 14 years old when they come to the ranch.
